When I moved to Canada 12 years ago, House & Home was one of the magazines I would always pick up. At the time, I was working as a project coordinator, learning from talented designers in the city, studying their work, reading every issue and slowly finding my own path in design. I remember looking through these pages and admiring the homes and designers featured in them. I don’t think I could have imagined that one day, I would see our own names in those same pages. More than eight years into building Harmen Design, this feels like one of those quiet milestones that makes you stop for a moment and look back at how far you’ve come.
