Established in 2018 by partners Goli Basiri and Kia Kazemian, Harmen Design is a leading architecture and interior design studio renowned for its innovative and dynamic approach. Based in Toronto with projects spanning across the globe, Harmen Design specializes in creating custom environments that range from luxurious residences and cutting-edge hotels to vibrant hospitality venues and thoughtfully designed public spaces.

Goli; After graduating from Eastern Mediterranean University in Cyprus with a degree in architecture, Goli embarked on her journey in the construction industry, spending four years honing her skills in midtown Toronto. Her time working in the prestigious Forest Hill Village ignited a passion for creating unique, personalized spaces, inspiring her to open her own interior design studio. Over the years, Goli has collaborated with builders and homeowners across the GTA, assembling a world-class team of craftsmen and suppliers. Her team is dedicated to guiding clients through every step of the design process—from navigating permits to crafting layouts with hand-selected materials—ensuring each project reflects the client’s vision before the first hammer is even swung.
Kia; With an MS in Architecture and a lifelong passion for design, Kia has dedicated years to the architectural industry, working with renowned design-build companies both in Canada and internationally. His journey took a pivotal turn after numerous successful collaborations with Goli, when they decided to take their shared vision to new heights by creating Harmen Design. It was a bold and daring move, but they were driven by the feedback and trust of their clients, who inspired them to take the leap and create something truly unique in the design world.
